It's cozy, homey restaurant. The people running the restaurant are very nice. We had some rolls and a bento box. The fish was good and fresh. The bento portions were generous. I would eat here again.
The owners have ran this restaurant for over 2 decades and have provided good sushi to the small town of Benicia. The service is what you get for a mom and pop shop. It's not a fancy restaurant but it's somewhere you can pop in and enjoy their food!
This sushi is delicious! I went here for the first time a week ago and I was really impressed with how good the sushi is! I'm pretty picky with my sushi! I won't necessarily avoid a restaurant if the sushi isn't super fresh and soft, but I'll definitely notice. I've been on the hunt for great local sushi and I've found my place. The second I bit into my rainbow roll I was really impressed! I will absolutely be coming back!

Really enjoyed our experience at Kaigan! The staff members are very friendly and they were very efficient and quick. The food was great and the portions were large! The ambiance is cute!
I went to Kaigan Sushi as I was in the mood for a Dragon Roll and it was close by. It's a cute little restaurant, the staff and chefs were very nice. The Dragon Roll was flavorful. What I noticed however was that the avocado was over ripe, it was brown. That was my only issue. I wasn't very hungry, so I didn't order anything else. Overall, the service was good and I would consider going back to get a full experience.
